Seven year old Sophie Rozen is alive today because of a blood transfusion she received as an infant. Her father Dan has made it his mission to teach others about the importance of giving blood. The Red Cross has set up a permanent blood donation facility on Carolina Forest Boulevard, where donors can roll up their sleeves as often as every 28 days. Photo by Matt Silfer for The Sun News.
