BNC Bank will open its fourth Grand Strand location this spring in Murrells Inlet.

The bank has bought the former Plantation Federal Bank building off U.S. 17 Bypass near Inlet Square Mall. BNC plans to have the branch open by April, said Tommy Bouchette, BNC’s South Carolina market president.

BNC has three Grand Strand offices: 3751 Robert Grissom Park in Myrtle Beach, 710 U.S. 17 North in North Myrtle Beach and 3064 Dick Pond Road.

“It’s just a natural extension,” Bouchette said of the new branch.
