I read the Sunday news on gun deaths so I Googled it to truth check. Turns out, 19,308 deaths are by suicide, 11,015 murder and others are accidental. Gun deaths aren’t even in the top 10 reasons for deaths in the U.S. It is 15th. Brady and the NRA agree on statistics but come to different conclusions. I can quote a TV talking head that said parts of Texas are the safest places to live because of concealed weapons. I actually did hear an 82-year-old man who shot six times with a .22 long rifle to stop an intruder in York, Pa. When asked if he would do anything differently he said, “I need to buy a bigger gun.”
P.S. Stop picking on the rich or you may never become one.
