On behalf of South Strand LaSertoma, I would like to thank the following for their generous donations of food and gifts for the Christmas family that our club adopted through Help 4 Kids: The Lakes Community, Tomlinson’s Warehouse Sales, The Stadium Club, and St. Angelo’s IV.

For those of you who are not familiar with what South Strand LaSertoma is, we are a local chapter of LaSertoma International which is a nonprofit organization. LaSertoma stands for ladies service to mankind. Our chapter was established 30 years ago and has several fundraisers each year and the proceeds benefit the children of the South Strand through scholarships, a health care fund that is managed by a member who is a school nurse and provides health care for any child whose family has no insurance and is in need, and also the family we adopt through Help 4 Kids who we provide gifts of clothing, a few toys, and enough food to fill their pantry for three meals a day and snacks.

Thank you all again for making Christmas wonderful for a needy family.
