Pro golf

Michael Midgette of Conway made two eagles and birdied the last three holes Wednesday to a seven under par 65 and victory on the Golfslingeer.com Tour at Abacoa Golf Club.

Midgette eagled the par-5 second and 10th holes, birdied Nos. 3, 16, 17 and 18, and bogeyed the par-4 seventh hole. It was Midgette’s first victory as a golf pro and he earned $1,000 from the $7,735 purse.

Jaynae Rice led Waccamaw with 11 points.
