Two arrested in Longs area stabbing over drugs

Two people were arrested after a stabbing that injured one man in Longs Monday evening, said Sgt. Robert Kegler with Horry County police.

Police found a man suffering from a stab wound in his upper body on the 9000 block of S.C. 90 in Longs. He was taken to a hospital where he is in stable condition, Kegler said.

Detectives said the victim was assaulted by two suspects during a drug transaction.

Charges remain pending against the two men, one from Longs and one from Conway. The Sun News does not identify suspects until formal charges have been filed.
