Let’s give workers more votes than moochers

January 7, 2013

It appears that a majority of people can vote for a president that can lose due to the electoral voting system. Definitely a new electoral method should be considered.

For example, instead of certain states having more electoral votes, maybe it should be done by a method where people who actually work or have worked and paid taxes should have more electoral consideration than people who live on free giveaway federal programs and have never chosen to work and pay taxes. Should the latter have the ability to vote for a candidate who passes laws to supports their habit?

How has it become possible for our government to take what some people have worked their whole life for and give it to those who have done nothing to deserve it? If this was done by a civilian, it would be considered stealing and dealt with in a court of law.
