CONWAY — AJ Jordan saved her best game yet for the Big South opener.
Jordan scored 15 of her game-high 21 in the second half to lead the Coastal Carolina women’s basketball team to a 64-56 in over Charleston Southern on Saturday in the conference opener for both teams.
Jordan shot 10-of-13 from the field and also led the Chanticleers with nine rebounds.
Coastal (7-7) ended a five-game losing skid.
Carolina Forest High School product Lakeitha Alston led Charleston Southern (5-7) with 17 points and 12 rebounds.
