Myrtle Beach Manor assisted living resident John Bulsza, 86, a retired research and development engineer from Philadelphia, said he's loved trains his whole life and that he and his deceased wife Mary, during their "courting" built the train layouts together. A wedding picture of the two greets guests to his room. "We had 62-years in love and a beautiful marriage," he added. "I've got some residents ask me all year if my trains are up," he said. He collected HO scale trains as a boy, but after returning from World War II discovered his mother had gotten rid of them. After that he started anew and began using a smaller N-scale trains. He said he loves the attention to detail and motorizing many of the other items in the city like cars, a blimp, carousal and tram.
