People gather in Plyer Park by The SkyWheel to commemorate Worlds AIDS Day on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012. Rather than using candles the group used small flashlights in the ceremony. As part of the commemoration, The SkyWheel is in all red on Saturday night. The event is put on by Careteam of Myrtle Beach. Careteam's mission is to provide services, information and support to stop the spread of HIV.
