• (At) Socastee 62, Waccamaw 24 | Sydney Wortham scored 11 points to lead the Braves to open the Lady Sand & Hoops Invitational late Monday night.

Wortham was one of three Socastee players to score in double figures, Megan Harrellson (10) and Kara Bell (10) were the others.

Mary Tyler had a game-high 14 to lead the Warriors.
