According to Tonya Root’s article concerning the arrest of Timothy Bessent, charged with stealing a county tractor and driving it down the highway in the middle of the night, “It’s unclear where Bessent was going when he was stopped.”
As his attorney (which I’m not) I’d say he was going to turn it in and collect the $1,000 reward. He’ll need it for the DUI offense.
