Re Nov. 9 letter by Charles G. Lague, “Thanks for courage to pick Obama”

In letter thanking your paper for picking Obama it was stated that we South Carolinians who didn’t vote Democrat would have voted for “Donald Duck” if he would run for the office. That is the typical demeaning rhetoric that the Democrats seem to spew to get their points across.

Gutter fighting at its best. It’s my hope you “winners” didn’t vote in a “Daffy Duck.” Time will tell. If, however, the elected party does fail it will be blamed as always on Bush, Congress, business, Europe, the stars, etc. but certainly not them. I hope I’m wrong.
