MYRTLE BEACH — A woman died Saturday night after the car she was driving was found in the water at the boat landing on Peachtree Road in Myrtle Beach, police said.
Linda Graham, 65, of the Socastee area was found dead in the car, said Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler. An autopsy was performed Sunday afternoon and determined that she drowned.
“It being treated as an accidental death,” Fowler said.
According to Lance Cpl. Judd Jones with the S.C. Highway Patrol, at about 9:10 p.m. Saturday the Mercury that Graham was driving traveled into the water at the boat landing on Peachtree Road.
There was no more information on the incident, which remains under investigation, Jones said.
