Republicans

The Sportsman Club of the Carolinas is sponsoring a dinner musical fundraiser on Monday for Bill Wiegand, a petition candidate for House District 105.

The “Momma Mia Lasagna-Pizza Bon-Appetito” fundraiser will be held 6:30 p.m. at the newly relocated Boston Pizzeria Ristorante at the former Giovanni Italian Restaurant 2005 Oakheart Road in Myrtle Beach. For information or to make reservations, call 742-5871.

• Trevor Loudon, researched and writer from New Zealand, will speak Friday at the Horry-Georgetown Tehcnical College as part of his U.S. Tour. He will have copies of his new book “Obama and the Enemies Within” available to be signed.

He was featured in the documentary “The Agenda” by Curtis Bowers.

The event, hosted by the Carolina Patriots, Conservatives for Responsible Government, Myrtle Beach Tea Party, Northern Horry Republican Club and the South Strand Republican Club, will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the Burroughs and Chapin Auditorium in the Conway Campus, 2050 U.S. 501 E, Conway.
