MYRTLE BEACH — Police arrested a North Myrtle Beach man at Broadway at the Beach early Sunday in connection with possession of drugs.
Ryan David Tolerton, 31, was charged with possession of cocaine.
According to a Myrtle Beach police report, at about 2:20 a.m. Sunday Broadway at the Beach security told police they saw Tolerton drop a plastic bag containing a white powder substance – believed to be cocaine, pick it up and walk toward the exit. Officers located Tolerton and when they approached him they said he threw the plastic bag on the sidewalk and keep walking.
Police apprehended Tolerton and picked up the bag, which contained six small bags of the white powdered substance. The substance tested positive for cocaine, weighing a total of 2.16 grams.
