Five people were charged with prostitution and a sixth is wanted in Surfside Beach after police investigated a complain early Thursday morning.

Police were called at about 2 a.m. Thursday, said Mike Frederick, chief of police. Uniformed officers responded and found activity consistent with a “call-girl” escort service and prostitution, he said.

Kristine Marie Reynolds, 22, of Myrtle Beach was charged with prostitution, second offense.

Stephanie Rene Leonard, 27, of Garden City, was charged with prostitution, first offense and fugitive from justice. She is wanted in Ohio for a burglary, Frederick said.

Justin Allen Hash, 28, of Garden City was charged with fugitive from justice. Frederick said Hash is wanted in Florida on multiple drug charges.

Christopher S. Mays, 37, of Groveport, Ohio and Jamie Lynn Goins, 30, of Conway were cited with prostitution, first offense.

Surfside Beach police are looking for James Goodenow, 41, of Myrlte Beach who is wanted for violation of an order of protection. Anyone with information about his whereabouts can call Surfside Beach police.

Reynolds and Goodenow were previously arrested in an undercover anti-prostitution operation in Surfside Beach in July, Frederick said, and the order of protection he violated is related to his relationship with Reynolds.

“This demonstrates the persistent nature of these offenders,” he said. “[This] is why agencies conduct the undercover operations periodically to disrupt these markets.”
