Donations: Blue Star Mothers of Coastal Carolina will be collecting donations of cash and items for their Christmas Hero Boxes at the Surfside Wal-Mart from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday. They will also be collecting the addresses of any deployed military personnel to receive one of these Hero Boxes. Each Christmas Hero Box contains a filled Christmas stocking. Each box costs $13.45 to mail not including all the items that are put into these boxes. The Christmas Hero Boxes will be mailed the end of November to insure they are received before Christmas.
