The Department of Theatre at Coastal Carolina will present a new multimedia adaptation of “The Rocky Horror Show” beginning Thursday.
The production is a legendary stage and movie musical and is one of the biggest cult phenomenons in entertainment history. It is famous for audience participation, and kits will all the appropriate props will be available for purchase at each performance.
“This ‘Rocky Horror’ is raw and in your face,” said Robin Edwards-Russell, the director, in a release. “It will indeed make your blush, but that’s part of the fun.”
The show is intended for mature audiences.
Showtimws are 7:30 p.m. Oct. 11-14 and 17-20, with 11 p.m. performances on Oct. 13 and 19, as well. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $5 for CCU and Horry Georgetown Technical College students and $10 for staff and facult, alumni and senior citizens.
