Taste of the Town winners announced in Myrtle Beach

The winners of the 29th Annual Taste of the Town were announced. More than 7,000 people toured restaurant booths at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center Tuesday night.

Attendees were polled at random to vote for their favorites of the 59 restaurants participating. Below are the winners.

Best Entrée:

1st Place: 21 Main – Prime NY Sirlion

2nd Place: California Dreaming – Baked Potato Soup

3rd Place: Divine Fish House – Mahi Divine

Best Dessert:

1st Place: Lil’ Tokyo Steakhouse and Sushi Bar - Tropical Naruto

2nd Place: Crossroads at House of Blues – Bourbon Bread Pudding

3rd Place: Greg Norman’s Australian Grill – German Chocolate Cheesecake

Best Large Booth Design:

1st Place: Sea Captain’s House

2nd Place: Coccadotts Cake Shop

3rd Place: Overtime Sports Café

Best Small Booth Design:

1st Place: Bimini’s Oyster Bar & Seafood Café

2nd Place: Dip it

3rd Place: Banditos Restaurant & Cantina

People’s Choice (Polled ages 13+):

Favorite Restaurant (Entrée): Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse

Favorite Restaurant (Dessert): Greg Norman’s Australian Grill

Kid’s Choice (Polled ages 12 & under):

Favorite Restaurant (Entrée): Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse
