LONGS — A man died in a fire Saturday night in his home in Longs, according to the Horry County Coroner’s office.
Robert Helmick, 63, died from injuries due to the fire, said coroner Tamara Willard. He was pronounced dead at the scene, 605 Dayflower Drive.
