How to get rid of unwanted medications: Take a cup of warm water and dissolve your medications in the warm water. They do not have to dissolve completely. Pour the mixture into a plastic sandwich bag containing kitty litter; the mixture will absorb/clump up; then dispose of the kitty litter mixture in the garbage. Peel off the labels from medication containers and destroy before you throw out or recycle the bottles.
