NORTH MYRTLE BEACH North Myrtle Beach volleyball picked up its 19th win of the season, this one over Socastee 25-12, 25-6, 25-14 on Thursday. The Chiefs also stay undefeated in Region VIII-AAA play too.
“It feels great,” North Myrtle Beach coach Barentine Stelle said. “I have 12 players back, so this year our goal is to make the state finals.”
Taylor Allman led the way for the Chiefs with 13 kills and 15 digs. Moriah Jones added six aces and 26 digs and Tara Hix had 20 assists for North Myrtle Beach.
“We finally found a lineup that works,” Stelle said. “I’m really pleased with their progress. I’d have to say this one of the best teams we’ve had here at North Myrtle player for player.”
Records: North Myrtle Beach (19-1, 6-0 Region VIII-AAA); Socastee (6-6, 4-2 Region VIII-AAA).
