ANDREWS — The Yellow Jackets started the scoring, but the Bears proved to be too much as Carvers Bay took down Andrews 21-3 on Friday.

Andrews’ only score came on a 35-yard field goal with 11:15 left in the second quarter.

Carvers Bay battled back, scoring twice in the second quarter. Senior DaShaun Aiken scored on a three-yard run, and Oneil Johnson recovered a fumble and returned it 28 yards to put the Bears ahead 13-3.

Aiken launched a 33-yard touchdown pass to Shayton Durrand with 16 seconds left in the third quarter to cap the scoring at 21-3.

Durrand recorded seven tackles, three for a loss, had six assists, an interception and a forced fumble. Senior Davin Young had six takles, six assists, an interception and a fumble recovery for Carvers Bay.

Aynor 52, (at) Latta 29 | Hunter Windham did seemingly everything for the Blue Jackets.

Windham racked up 287 all-purpose yards and scored five touchdowns as Aynor took down the Latta Vikings. Windham also recorded four tackles for a loss, one forced fumble and had a pass deflection. His highlight of the night was a 77-yard reception from quarterback Nathan Peeples.

Windham also carried the ball 12 times for 125 yards. Louis Taylor recorded five tackles and Peeples had an interception for Aynor.
