Justin Portillo scored in the 26th minute and Ashton Bennett added a goal in the 76th as the Coastal Carolina men’s soccer team defeated Florida Atlantic 2-0 on Friday night.

Rick Garbanzo had an assist for the Chanticleers (3-1-1).

CCU women’s soccer

•  Coastal Carolina 3, (at) The Citadel 0 | Kacey Kelley scored twice and Riley Johnson added a score as the Chanticleers posted their third shutout of the season.

Ashley Day, Camille Christie and Darbie Kelley each dished out one assist and goalkeeper Megan Spencer recorded her third shutout of the year as Coastal (3-3) beat The Citadel (0-4) for the seventh time in eight meetings.
