PAWLEYS ISLAND — Jalen Simmons ran 17 times for 139 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Waccamaw High School football team to a 22-0 victory over Creek Bridge in a game that was postponed from Friday.
Jeffron Smalls had the Warriors’ other score – on a 48-yard run in the fourth quarter – and also had an interception in the third quarter.
J.J. Sherman had a sack that forced a fumble recovered by Jabbrel Drayton that gave the Warriors possession in the fourth quarter to help assure the shutout.
