The Grand Strand delegates shared what they think voters should have learned over the three day Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla. on Thursday. Here’s what they had to say.
Jim Jerow: “What I’ve heard from all of the speakers is that the Republican Party is going to be open, it’s going to be honest. They’re going to do the job that needs to be done to get our country back on the right track. They’re all committed. The women governors, of which there are four, in their conversations are so enthused and proud of Ann Romney. Overall, the fact is we’ve got to be straight forward and we’ve got to get the job done.”
Randal Wallace: “I hope the public has learned that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are prepared and serious about turning this country’s economy around both short and long term. They both have track records of turning businesses around from failure to success. They are willing to make the tough decisions that we need to make and have laid out a plan that saves Medicare and social security long term without bankrupting the country. Both are also men who can be trusted to do what they say they will do. As a nation we cannot pass the buck anymore.”
