Three different agencies are responding to a fully involved fire in Georgetown according to police spokesman Nelson Brown.
Brown said the home is on the 200 block of Screven Street in the city. The Georgetown County and Midway Fire Rescue crews have been called to assist the city’s efforts, he said.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and crews have been on scene for about an hour.
At 9:20 p.m., Brown said the home was still showing flames from the roof.
