Three high school football games have been rescheduled for Saturday because of weather concerns.

The Carolina Forest-Fort Dorchester game, North Myrtle Beach-Loris game, and Socastee at West Brunswick (N.C.) games scheduled for Friday have been moved to Saturday.

Carolina Forest will now host its foe at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, while the Chiefs and Lions rivalry will kickoff at 2 p.m. Saturday at North Myrtle Beach High School. Socastee will travel to North Carolina for a 4 p.m. contest.

CCU Baseball

The Chanticleers’ Alex Buccilli was named by the PerfectGame.org as one of the top performers in the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League this summer.

Buccilli played for the Alexandria Aces over the summer and posted a .344 batting average with 10 doubles, seven home runs and 30 RBI. He also drew 39 walks, had 16 strikeouts and stole 14 bases. He was selected to play in the mid-season All-Star game.
