A man on vacation from Great Falls, South Carolina drowned today, authorities said.
Henry Lane, 68, died at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, said Robert Edge, Horry County Coroner.
Edge said no autopsy is planned and Lane died from asphyxiation as a result of drowning at 4:14 p.m. after being transported to the hospital. Edge said the incident happened near the Myrtle Beach Travel Park, but details were not immediately available.
