A man from the Myrtle Beach area died Sunday in a two vehicle crash on S.C. 544 outside of Conway, according to authorities.
The crash happened about 12:45 p.m. Sunday on S.C. 544 near Jackson Bluff Road, said Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins with the S.C. Highway Patrol.
Keith Bramley, 36, of the Myrtle Beach area was pronounced dead about 5:15 p.m. Sunday at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center where he was being treated for injuries he suffered in the crash, Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler said. Preliminary results from an autopsy performed Monday morning showed Bramley died from massive internal injuries.
Bramley was driving a 1996 Ford Sport Utility Vehicle going east on S.C. 544 when he lost control and went into oncoming traffic, Collins said. Bramleys vehicle was struck in the drivers door by a 1998 Chevrolet SUV going west on S.C. 544.
The crash is under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
