Published: May 31, 2012

— Three Conway men were indicted by an Horry County grand jury on charges related to the shooting death of a Myrtle Beach man in 2009, according to court records.

Alex Antwain Graham, 23, Antoine Staffon Days, 22, Christopher Lee McDonald, 28, each was indicted on charges of murder, first-degree burglary, armed robbery, and two counts of kidnapping in connection with the April 22, 2009 shooting death of 20-year-old Antonio Grate.

Graham and Days also were indicted for possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, according to indictments released Thursday.

Myrtle Beach police charged the men in August and September 2011 in Grate’s death.

Grate suffered a gunshot wound to the chest during the 2009 home invasion at Carolina Breeze Apartments at 100 Cedar Street, police said. He later died at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Police said Graham and Days had firearms and pointed them at Grate, who was shot in the chest when one of the guns went off during the home invasion.

Graham remains jailed at J. Reuben Long Detention Center without bond, while Days and McDonald were released after they were charged in September.
