Myrtle Beach police are investigating a report of an armed robbery in the parking lot of a hotel located along South Ocean Boulevard, according to a police report.
A 27-year-old man working with a plumbing company called police about 11:30 a.m. Thursday to 3000 S. Ocean Blvd., to report he had been robbed, police said.
The man said he was driving through the complex to get to a job site when he saw someone in a truck that pulled up next to him in a parking space, according to the report. The man said the driver of the truck approached him and said the victim owed his friend money.
