A Myrtle Beach man was charged with criminal domestic violence after a woman reported he punched her in the mouth during an argument, according to a police report.
Vincent Lavarn King, 39, was charged about 4 a.m. Thursday after officers took him into custody about an hour prior in connection with the incident that occurred about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday inside an apartment at 402 Fifth Ave. S., police said.
A 47-year-old woman was found bleeding profusely from her mouth and had swelling and bruising to her head, arms and neck area, according to the report. The woman told police she and King had argued and he became enraged and assaulted her.
