Area road closures planned next week

Some area roads will have lane closures starting overnight Sunday.

In Myrtle Beach on U.S. 17 between 62nd Avenue North an d 29th Avenue North there will be nighttime lane closures of the inside lanes for sewer installations in the median. Those closures can be expected Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

U.S. 17 at Farrow Parkway and S.C. 707 will also have nighttime closures Sunday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. affecting the inside lanes in both directions.

In Garden City Beach there will be daytime lane closures Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Crews are installing a turn lane on U.S. 17 at the Garden City Connector.

In Pawley’s Island, there will be daytime closures on U.S. 17 at Georgieville Street for paving on Feb. 13.
