What is an unhappening? A prime example of an unhappening unhappened on Jan. 30. Three-hundred thousand American men and women from at least 12 different states gathered in Washington, D.C. to show their love for life, to plea once again for unborn humans to be allowed for nature to take its course. These anti-abortion rabble rousers traveled from their homes and towns at their own expense, with no government subsidy or stimulus grant.

The major press and TV media totally and purposely ignored it. Why? Was it because TV reporters, cameramen, and others of the Fourth Estate were directed to ignore it? What else are we to believe? Why can 20 or 30 members of “Occupy” get front page commentary and interviews on CBS, NBC and ABC?

I am not commenting on the morality of abortion. I just wonder how many other “unhappenings” take place in America, unhappenings that the news media are directed by editors, owners or publishers to ignore.

If it’s not on TV news or in the news press, I guess it didn’t happen?
