MURRELLS INLET -- The St. James wrestling team defeated Bluffton 62-18 on Monday night to reach the Lower State final.
The Sharks grapple at Chapin – a winner over Socastee on Tuesday – in the Lower State final Wednesday with a state title berth on the line.

• Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach 60, (at) Coastal Christian Prep 28 | Mary Chandler Butler had a game-high 30 points, 10 rebounds and 12 steals and Caroline Gore had 12 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals as Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach routed Coastal Christian Prep.
Simi Oduwale added 10 points, 20 rebounds, five steals and two blocks and Rebekah Bowers had four points, eight rebounds, 10 steals and two blocks for Christian Academy.
• Lowcountry Prep 60, (at) Palmetto Christian Academy 58 (OT) | Sydney Derrick and Leldon McClary had 17 points each as Lowcountry Prep got past Palmetto Christian Academy.
Derrick also grabbed 12 rebounds and all nine of Lowcountry Prep’s overtime points were scored by McClary.
