Dollar Tree is moving its store off S.C. 544 from the Wal-Mart shopping center to the center across U.S. 17 Bypass that houses Kohl’s.
The new 10,000-square-foot store is under construction beside Ruby Tuesday restaurant in the South Strand Commons shopping center and is expected to open this summer, according to Lei Gainer, spokeswoman for Burroughs & Chapin Co. Inc., which owns the shopping center.
The Dollar Tree in the Wal-Mart shopping center will close and move into the new building, likely in July, assistant store manager Lorenzo Myers said. The store is moving so it will have more room, he said.
