New in Theaters - The Grey
Capsule reviews of films opening this week:
THE GREY (R): Liam Neeson is one of the oil drillers stranded in remote Alaska after a plane crash. The men must not only survive the frigid cold: They must also deals with the hungry wolves that take an interest in them. Directed by Joe Carnahan (Narc, Smokin' Aces).
MAN ON A LEDGE (PG-13): Sam Worthington is the apparently suicidal man threatening to jump off a New York City hotel rooftop. The police are so preoccupied with him, they don't even notice the jewel heist taking place down the street. Elizabeth Banks, Jamie Bell, Edward Burns and Ed Harris co-star for director Asger Leth.
ONE FOR THE MONEY (PG-13): Oh, that Katherine Heigl! She's always getting into the wackiest situations! This time, she plays an unemployed divorcee who takes a job as a bail bondsman. Her first assignment? Track down her former boyfriend (Jason O'Mara), who has skipped bail. Many hilarious hijinx ensue, no doubt.
