Police search for suspect in robbery try

Conway police are searching for a man who tried to rob a woman closing a convenience store during the weekend, according to a police report.

The 27-year-old woman told officers she was locking the door for C&C Handimart about 11 p.m. Friday when a man came up behind her and said “give me your bag,” police said.

Officers searched the area, but did not find the man, who did not take anything from the woman.
