Man reports being stabbed
A man was apparently attacked and stabbed in the thigh early Sunday morning while walking in Myrtle Beach.
The 39-year-old victim told officers he was walking east on Mr. Joe White Avenue near Nance Street about 4 a.m., when three young men walking in the opposite direction attacked him.
One of the attackers grabbed the victim’s head and slung him to the ground, and he told officers that’s when he felt a sharp pain in his left thigh. He said the entire incident lasted only a few seconds. He ran to his girlfriend’s house, and she took him to a local emergency room for treatment.
The victim said he didn’t actually see a weapon and could not identify any of the attackers. Officers said they saw that his left eye was injured and his leg had dried blood on it, but it had been wrapped at the hospital so they didn’t see the wound.
The victim said he didn’t want any further police action.

Women report robbery try
Two young women reported nearly being robbed early Sunday morning in Myrtle Beach.
The two women, both 19, told officers they were leaving Derriere’s gentlemen’s club, where they had both danced Saturday night, carrying their proceeds from the night in two small cardboard boxes.
Two men had offered them a ride from the club and they accepted, but when they didn’t want to go up to the men’s room with them, the women said, they left and began walking home. They had reached 14th Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard, the same two men pulled up next to them and one got out of the BMW they were in. He yelled, “give it up, give it up,” grabbed one of the women by the hair and threw her up against the car.
She fell when the car pulled forward, and the man who grabbed her hair struck her in the head several times.
However, he and his friend left without taking either woman’s money.
