LAKE CITY -- Senior Khadijah Sessions had 27 points Tuesday night to lead the Myrtle Beach girls basketball team to a 61-48 win over Lake City in its season opener.

Sessions also had eight rebounds and six assists, while Tanisha Brown had nine points and 14 rebounds to lead the two-time defending Class AAA champs.
