Capriz – a new restaurant by the TBonz Restaurant Group – is slated to open September.

Larry J. Bond, general manager of The Flying Fish Public Market & Grill at Barefoot Landing, which is also a TBonz Restaurant property, is helping oversee the project.

“We are pushing to have everything ready by Sept. 13,” Bond said. “When the guests walk in, they will feel like they just stepped into Italy.”

The eatery, located in the space formerly occupied by Tripps Restaurant at Broadway at the Beach, will feature various homemade pasta served tableside, as well as meatballs, ribs and chicken. The price will be $19.95 plus tax.

The food serving and presentation will be similar to that of Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse, also a part of the TBonz Restaurant Group.
