About a dozen new stores have opened at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach.
Among the new stores:
Francesca's Collections, which sells women's clothes and accessories;
Straight From the Heart, which sells heart-themed items;
Heroes, Legends & Superstars, which sells gift items representing celebrities and places;
Designer Sunglasses;
Embroidery & More, which sells apparel, totes, towels and other items that are custom embroidered;
Tassa Cabana has reopened selling gift items and beach-related merchandise;
Carolina Breezin', which sells upscale resortwear with the Breezin' Up label;
All About Me toy store;
Discount Express fashion and accessories;
D&D Outfitters, a clothing and accessories store specializing in western wear and leather goods.
Among the new restaurants and snack shops: The Boardwalk Coffee House, which sells beverages and some deli items; Crepes Cafe, which sells crepes with fruit, vegetables or meat; Dino's Italian and Greek Cuisine.
A few stores have moved to new spots: Sand & Sun, which sells sandals, has relocated to a bigger space in the Dockside Village part of Barefoot, and Old Tyme Portraits has moved from Dockside Village to the complex's Lakeview Courtyard.
Barefoot Landing has more than 100 stores, restaurants and entertainment venues including the House of Blues and Alabama Theatre.
MURRELLS INLET
Dollar Tree opens near Inlet mall
A Dollar Tree has opened in Murrells Inlet.
The 11,076-square-foot store is at 1256 Tadlock Drive, next to Inlet Square Mall.
Dollar Tree sells items such as toiletries, party supplies and seasonal items.
CAROLINA FOREST
New spa opens in Brightwater
Rejuvenate, a salon and spa, has opened in Brightwater, a senior living community in Carolina Forest.
The salon and spa, at 101 Brightwater Dr., caters to seniors and offers hair services, massage therapy and facial skin treatments. It is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. For more information call 903-8300.
