Well another year has come to an end on the LPGA Tour. A lot of goals were met and a lot were left to reach in 2011.
When people ask me how has my year been on the golf side, I don't have much of an answer besides, 'not great but not terrible!'
I finished the season 27th on the money list and 32nd in the Rolex World Rankings, both of which were within my first set of goals, but not in my ultimate goals for the year.
Even though I left a few things out on the table for next year, it was still a pretty amazing year.
I've tried to narrow the year down to a top 10 list, but if anyone knows me you know that's impossible, so here's my top 13 moments for 2010.
» 13. Playing the Irish Open on the 2011 Solheim Cup course
» 12. Mojo 6 tournament in Jamaica
» 11. Beating Alabama in football (would have been higher but I missed the cut that week)
» 10. All of the fun baseball games (ALCS game 6, Fenway, Braves, NYC)
» 9. Birthday dinner in Brazil
» 8. Helicoper ride over Oakmont C.C. at the U.S. Open
» 7. Backyard concert with my boys Pat Green and Patrick Davis
» 6. Canada bogey free weekend for best finish of the year (T-2)
» 5. Forming relationships with all of my sponsors (Kentwool, T-3, Clemmy's Ice Cream, Pilla, Greg Norman, Titleist)
» 4. A week at Pebble Beach with my mama and daddy
» 3. Washington, D.C., trip with my teammates for winning Solheim Cup
» 2. Getting to play Augusta National with my dad
» 1. Being inducted into the USC Hall of Fame
Although I didn't always have my "A" game this whole year, it's been a pretty amazing year. My top 13 could have easily been a top 30 list.
As I have said before I am extremely lucky to get to play a game that I love for a living. I don't take a single moment for granted, but I couldn't do it without the support of my family, friends, sponsors, fans, Gaylord team and of course God for blessing me with a talent to play this crazy game.
So thank you to all of you for your support throughout the 2010 season. I look forward to working hard this offseason and getting stronger for an even better 2011.
