Man armed with shotgun robbed six Myrtle Beach women

Six Myrtle Beach women told police two men armed with a shotgun forced their way into their apartment and robbed them, according to a police report.

The women, who are between the ages of 19 and 23, told police two men followed them when two of the women returned home at 11 p.m. Tuesday to their apartment at Courtside Villas Apartment at 1510 Greens Blvd., police said.

The women said one of the men forced the door open and pointed a shotgun at one woman while he held her on the ground, according to the report. The man stole the woman’s backpack, money, cell phone and music player.

Another woman, who was sleeping at the time, told police she got up to tell her roommates to be quiet and one of the men forced his way into her room and stole her computer and phone, according to the report. Another woman told police she ran to her bedroom, locked the door and climbed out the window where she ran to a nearby apartment and called police.
