An Horry County grand jury indicted several area residents on charges such as armed robbery, kidnapping, purse snatching and assault, according to court records released this week.
Following is a list of the people indicted and their charges:
Curtis Anthony Cheesboro, 48, of Aynor and Daniel Isiah Mitchell, 25, of Myrtle Beach, carjacking. Myrtle Beach police charged the men after a man said they took his 2006 Ford F-150 on May 26.
Antonio Dion Gilbert, 34, of Mullins, kidnapping, armed robbery, and assault and battery with intent to kill. The charges stemmed from June 17, 2009, when a man told Horry County police he was robbed and assaulted by a man armed with a knife.
David Levon Graham, 34, of Loris, two counts of kidnapping, two counts of attempted armed robbery, first-degree burglary and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime. The charges were related to an April 28 incident in which a man and woman told Horry County police they had been robbed by a man armed with a knife.
Leonard Joseph Price, 25, of Little River, and Timothy Carl Lee, 47, of Calabash, N.C., armed robbery, first-degree assault and battery, possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime and criminal conspiracy. The charges are connected to a June 21 robbery.
Driscoll Riggins, 28, of North Myrtle Beach, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime related to a June 7 incident.
William Theodore Rucker, 30, of Union City, Ga., unlawful carrying of a pistol and assault with intent to kill connected to a May 27 attack in which a woman told North Myrtle Beach police that Rucker was her assailant.
Tara Marie Sweetman, 31, of Sunset Beach, N.C., and Oscar Clifton Riley, 32, of Little River, purse snatching. Riley also was charged with another count of purse snatching and distribution of cocaine. The purse snatching charge is related to a July 3 incident, and the drug charge stemmed from June 5, 2009.
Mark Edward Turner, 25, of Marion, three counts of kidnapping, possession of hydrocodone, first-degree burglary and possession of a weapon. Myrtle Beach police say Turner, armed with a knife, robbed a woman's house on March 30.
