PILLA offers high-tech eyewear

PILLA High Performance Golf Eyewear features a unique two-frame system to manage light. One frame and lens is designed and recommended for use for tee to green, and the other frame and lens is recommended for the putting surface. The glasses feature Italian hand-crafted frames and are coupled with the company's new HDX Ballistx Varia Lens technology, which creates the effect of brightening the fairway and putting surface. PILLA's high performance greens-reading lenses are specifically formulated to identify minor changes in contour by identifying changes in light. The ability to read minor changes in green contour is accomplished with a lens that infuses a high level of contrast while intensifying color. PILLA glasses offer a range of lens light transmissions to offer the golfer specific technology for different lighting conditions.

The two-glasses package comes in a box shaped like a sleeve of balls and retails for $449. PILLA's company history is in trap shooting and skeet shooting, and it has now migrated to the golf industry. PILLA eyewear was used by Conway native Kristy McPherson when she finished second at the recent CN Canadian Women's Open for her best finish on tour this year. Visit www.pillasport.com. Alternate lenses are available online, and the glasses are also available in some retail stores and some golf shops.
