A Halloween shop will temporarily resurrect the empty Circuit City off of Seaboard Street in Myrtle Beach.

Spirit Halloween will open Sept. 3 in the more than 10,000-square-foot space. The shop has located in either Seaboard Commons or Waccamaw Pottery in previous years, and the larger Circuit City space will allow for an expanded decor and children's costume sections.

The store plans to hold its annual charity VIP Night on Sept. 19 that will benefit CareTeam, a Grand Strand nonprofit dedicated to HIV prevention and awareness.

Spirit Halloween is based in New Jersey and is a division of Spencer Gifts LLC.
