The Grand Strand's wide selection of golf courses earned Myrtle Beach a spot as one of the top 10 U.S. beach towns, according to a ranking by travel website SmarterTravel.com.

The Ten Best Beach Towns in America listed Myrtle Beach as the best for golf, citing the areas 100-plus courses. The article also highlighted the Grand Strand's beach and miniature golf offerings.
